Jammery at Orchard House

The Jammery at Orchard House is proud to offer distinctive, small-batch jellys, jams, and butters. Our bed and breakfast guests have been enjoying our homemade preserves at the breakfast table, and at home, since our opening. Now, if you aren’t able to make it to Granville and stay at Orchard House, or if you have stayed with us and enjoyed our jams, you can dine on the Jammery's sumptuous preserves with your breakfast or as a treat with an ice cream sundae.

As a family-run business, we produce small quantities of preserves, using ingredients at the height of their freshness. Because of this, we offer different preserves throughout the season. And once the vegetables and fruits are out-of-season, we will no longer be preparing that jam or jelly for the year. Seasonality ensures you receive the best product possible. Whenever possible we source ingredients from our own fruits and vegetables from Orchard House or small local farmers in the Granville or Central Ohio area.

We do offer one preserve throughout the year, our award-winning Carrot Cake Jam. Our jam won the Best in Show at the 2011 Ohio State Fair. Competing against numerous other jams and jellies, our jam shone as the most delicious entry in 2011. We have been offering this jam on our cheese plate since opening and are happy to now present this unique jam for your enjoyment. You can also find it sold in the stores of Granville.

We have also introduced a new flavor, Honey Vanilla Fig Jam, a sumptuous combination of Orchard House honey, organic vanilla, and figs, it is available for sale online (and is currently available at the inn). This flavor has been extremely well received, with many people suggesting it’s even better than our Carrot Cake!

Our newest summer flavors will debut as soon as the ingredients are available. As a preview, we’re thinking of calling it our "It’s 5 O'clock Somewhere" collection!

And, if you needed another reason to visit our little village, you can now buy our jams at The Granville Inn Chef's Corner and Green Velvet! We will also be featured on the cheese plate at Harvest Pizzeria in German Village!

We are happy to take requests for special preserves, creating a unique product for your family and friend's enjoyment. All of our preserves are presented in 8 ounce glass jars. We are currently working with ACEnet of Ohio, which allows us to sell our jams outside the State of Ohio.
